Our company specializes in the market development, product manufacturing, and after-sales technical services related to cryogenic liquefaction and separation technologies for various industrial gases. II. Working Principle of the Equipment:

The KZO-50 type air separation unit is a device that uses cryogenic distillation to extract medical or industrial-grade oxygen from air. The process adopts a low-pressure turbine expansion cryogenic cycle principle to liquefy air. Then, using the different boiling points of liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen, fractional distillation in the column produces oxygen with a purity above 99.5% for medical or industrial use. Liquid oxygen is pressurized to 15 MPa by a liquid oxygen pump, vaporized, and cooled for bottling. The air separation unit utilizes our patented “air-cooled, foundation-free skid-mounted” design. Photos of the patented components and unit equipment are provided in the attachment.

III. Process Flow Summary:

Air passes through a filter and enters the air compressor, where it is compressed to 1.2 MPa. After cooling, it flows into the purifier to remove moisture, CO₂, acetylene, and other impurities. The purified air then enters a heat exchanger, where it exchanges heat with return gases like oxygen and waste nitrogen. Waste nitrogen exits the distillation column and enters the turbine expander, which provides the primary cooling source after expansion. The liquefied air then throttles into the upper column, where oxygen is eventually obtained. Waste nitrogen is reheated via the cold box and heat exchanger, then used by the purifier during regeneration. Product oxygen is sent out after pressurization by the liquid oxygen pump.

IV. Equipment Advantages:

6. The internal compression process minimizes future maintenance costs and enhances efficiency by bottling oxygen directly through the LOX pump.

8. The unit can produce approximately 20L of liquid oxygen when gas production is not required.

9. Air-cooled system—no need for a cooling water pool, saving infrastructure costs.

V. Auxiliary Units Description:

1. Air Compressor:

Screw-type air compressor with box-type structure and low noise. The integrated system includes air, lubrication, electrical, cooling, and control systems. Controlled by a PLC smart controller with a touch panel displaying all adjustable parameters and key operating data. Features include automatic protection, alarm, remote control, multi-unit linkage, and history recording. Supports unattended continuous operation.

2. Pre-cooling Unit:

Fully enclosed imported compressor with non-leaking refrigerant. High-efficiency water separators and automatic drains ensure no liquid water in outlet air. Imported refrigeration components support long-term continuous operation. The unit includes remote signal interfaces for inlet/outlet temperature, start/stop signals, and fault signals. Box-type structure, no foundation required—easy installation.

3. Purifier:

Dual-adsorption tower structure—one in operation, one in regeneration. Ensures clean air enters the distillation tower for longer operating cycles. Uses waste nitrogen for regeneration heating with automatic temperature control:

a) If nitrogen temperature at the heater outlet exceeds 220°C, power is automatically cut off; it is restored when below 180°C.

b) If regenerated nitrogen temperature at the outlet of the adsorption tower reaches 100–110°C, heating stops automatically (customizable).

4. Turbo Expander Unit:

Manufactured by the Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with extensive experience in turbine design. Features patented hydrodynamic and static pressure-bearing structure, strong anti-surge capability, high load capacity, low environmental sensitivity, and simple installation. Received the Academy’s 2nd-class and the national 3rd-class Science & Technology Progress Awards in 1995 and 1999 respectively. High efficiency, low cold loss. Praxair, a global leader in air separation, orders several units annually for its operations.

5. Distillation Column:

Uses aluminum plate-fin heat exchangers for enhanced thermal efficiency and lower operating pressure, thus minimizing energy consumption. The column is equipped with a control panel; temperature, flow rate, and liquid level are displayed digitally—clear and user-friendly.

XII. Service Terms:

1. The complete oxygen generation system is covered under a one-year warranty from the date of commissioning.

2. Our company will send 1–2 engineers to the customer’s site for installation guidance and operator training.

• Service fee: USD 100 per person per day, additional.

• Duration: Approx. 15–30 days.

• Before our engineers arrive, the customer must ensure power supply, hoisting equipment, and auxiliary materials are ready.

• The customer is responsible for round-trip airfare, local accommodation, meals, transportation, insurance, and medical expenses.

• If onsite service is not possible due to pandemic restrictions, remote startup guidance via WeChat is available. Technical service fee: RMB 10,000.

3. Upon contract signing, we will provide a general layout drawing. All other necessary drawings will be delivered with the complete equipment set.

a. Customer shall ensure power facilities are in place and power is available before our installation team arrives.

b. Customer shall arrange 2–3 operators for onsite installation and training.
